For Adrien Rabiot, one of the current objectives is to gain strength physically in preparation for the clash against PSG on October 27.

It’s for Sunday! A little less than two weeks after his signing, Adrien Rabiot could make his big debut with Olympique de Marseille, on the pitch in Strasbourg. The French international midfielder will in any case be traveling to Alsace, and will start the match as a substitute, according to indications given on Friday by Roberto De Zerbi at a press conference.

Initially, Rabiot considered a resumption for the following weekend against Angers, at best. But the former Juventus player feels good. Even if he has not played since Euro 2024, he has maintained his physical health, and therefore feels capable of playing a few minutes against Strasbourg and against SCO, for a gradual increase in power.

Major objective, OM-PSG

OM hopes that their player will not be called up to the French team in October, which will allow him to continue his preparation. The goal is for Rabiot to be 100% ready for the restart, after the international break. First there will be this trip to Montpellier and then, of course, this shock against PSG on October 27 at the Vélodrome.

Since OM is not playing in the European Cup this year, the Phocéens are betting everything on the championship, and this duel against the Parisian rival is the major meeting of the first part of the season. For Rabiot, if we add his personal history, this is THE match where you will have to be ready.
