Former AS Monaco striker Radamel Falcao has decided to end his career in Europe.

Radamel Falcao has announced that he is leaving Rayo Vallecano. The Colombian striker, however, insists he has no plans to retire.

After the defeat against Barcelona last weekend, Falcao said : “My contract expires on June 30 and I will then see what options are available to me. I feel good, I want to continue playing, so we will analyze the situation carefully, me and my family, which weighs a lot in this decision.”

Heading to Mexico for Falcao?

Falcao is happy to have managed to keep the Madrid team in the Spanish elite. “There is nothing that has been discussed with the club. Staying in La Liga is an extremely important thing for this club, especially for its fans who always accompany us. I thank you for these three years and I wish Rayo every success for the future.”

Furthermore, Diario Record claims that Falcao could join Liga MX. A source said : “We can assure you that people very close to the Colombian say that the player would be enthusiastic about playing in Liga MX.”
