Tennis legend Rafa Nadal, who is a huge Real Madrid fan, has offered to help Los Blancos put together a deal for Kylian Mbappé.

The La Liga giants have long been in the running to recruit the 2018 World Cup winner. The latter is at the end of his contract at Paris Saint-Germain, without an extension clause, and should be free in the summer of 2024.

Real are reportedly preparing a lucrative offer for the France international, but no agreement has yet been reached for a move to Spain. Nadal is ready to step in and help, with the 22-time Grand Slam winner telling Cadena COPE that he is all for the move: “ I would sign Kylian Mbappé for Real Madrid. Real Madrid have a great team, despite the injury disaster this year. With Mbappé they would be even better, if I can contribute to the club in any way I would. »

Nadal ready to invest

Nadal has closely followed Real’s efforts in 2023-24 and has enjoyed seeing Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham in action. When asked to choose a favorite between the Brazilian and English superstars, he added: “I can’t choose, they are both very good, with different mentalities. I think Vinicius is spectacular and Jude Bellingham is incredible for what he has done since he arrived in Madrid at the age of 20.”

There has been talk in the past of Nadal entering the race for the Real Madrid presidency, but he says he has no plans to follow in Florentino Perez’s footsteps any time soon. He declared on this subject: “ I’m a fan for life, but becoming president of Real Madrid is not in my plans at the moment. » Real have moved five points clear at the top of the La Liga table as they look to snatch a domestic crown from Clasico rivals FC Barcelona and hold a narrow 1-0 lead over RB Leipzig in the round of 16 of the Champions League.
