In Italy, racist insults come from the stands, but also from social networks. Players are attacked by opposing supporters, but also by their own supporters. After AC Milan’s defeat at Monza (4-2), Rafael Leão suffered insults from one of his fans. The Italian internet user posted a story on Instagram saying: “I can’t see you anymore, I can’t stand you anymore. With you on the field, I become racist. You piss me off. Leave as quickly as possible, you and those who follow you. » A message to which Rafael Leão wanted to respond.

The Portuguese chose not to ignore the insult and to respond to his story: “unfortunately, the world continues to be populated by these kinds of people who have small minds”. AC Milan apologized for the behavior of one of its “supporters” and supported its left winger via a post on their social networks.
