Manchester United have been linked with a late move for Chelsea star Raheem Sterling but it seems that the move is in doubt according to the latest reports.
Ahead of tomorrow’s transfer deadline day, Manchester United will be focussed on outgoings.
Scott McTominay is set to confirm his move to Napoli and Jadon Sancho is seeking a late exit from Old Trafford.
Juventus had been linked with a move for Sancho after Italian winger Federico Chiesa secured his move to Liverpool.
However, a deal has not been agreed upon with the Red Devils who remain in contact with Chelsea who are also interested in signing the former Borussia Dortmund winger.
It has previously been reported that Manchester United has been exploring the possibility of a swap deal with Chelsea for Raheem Sterling to make a shock move to Old Trafford that would see Sancho move to Stamford Bridge.
However, Talksport’s Alex Crook has issued an update on Sterling’s Chelsea future.
Taking to X, Crook has suggested that Sterling is more likely to stay at Stamford Bridge with a deadline day exit unlikely.

Manchester United more focussed on departures than Sterling move
Manuel Ugarte’s move to Manchester United is expected to be announced on deadline day with their focus turning to potential outgoings with Victor Lindelof another potential departure.
Heading into tomorrow’s deadline conversations remain ongoing for Sancho’s potential exit. Manchester United reportedly want a permanent transfer, but a loan deal with obligation is also under consideration.
