Ralf Rangnick explains why he turned down Bayern Munich

Austria coach, Ralf Rangnick announced yesterday a list of 29 names for Euro 2024. The German coach who had been approached by Bayern Munich had finally refused the Rekordmeister’s offer even though it was had rained initially. He took advantage of a press conference to explain his choice.

“The decision was made on the morning of May 1. It was not an easy decision and it was not an easy time. Doing both for two and a half months would have been almost impossible. With all the energy I feel, one of the two teams would have suffered. I did not want. That’s why I trusted my instincts, listened to my heart and decided to move on and stay here.” he clarified.
