Now, everyone can’t stop thinking about the ending of the movie… and luckily for us, Ralph Fiennes has revealed what actually happens.

The Menu follows Margot and Tyler (Anya Taylor-Joy and Nicholas Hoult), a young couple, who travel to an elite, remote, coastal island in order to dine at an exclusive restaurant where a mysterious chef (Fiennes) has prepared a lavish, expensive menu. We learn in the film that the chef’s plan for the meal is to punish the elite and pretentious people, who he believes has ruined the dining industry. He specifically hand-picked a group of people to be part of the dinner party, but Anya‘s character Margot was not originally on the guest list.

Nicholas‘ character Tyler recently broke up with his girlfriend and since bookings for the meal could only be purchased in groups of two, Tyler hired an escort to attend with him. She had no clue what she was getting into though!

By the end of the movie, all of the diners are killed when the chef turns them into human s’mores, but he lets Margot escape and live.

Margot requests that the chef make him a cheeseburger, which brings the chef back to his days when he actually enjoyed cooking. He makes her the cheeseburger and puts it in a to-go bag at her request.

Margot leaves the restaurant and gets into a boat to sail back to land. The final shot of the movie shows her biting into the cheeseburger as she watches the restaurant go up in flames, with all the guests and staff inside. Fans have speculated that the burger could have been poisoned and she died as well.

Now, Ralph has revealed some new insight.

“She survived! She’s alive and kicking,” Ralph told SPIN 1038 radio during an appearance in Dublin this past week.
