NXT is getting a new home soon. The show will be making its live debut on the CW Network on October 1st, 2024. Two of WWE’s biggest Superstars will be making an appearance on the Shawn Michaels-led brand. One of them is CM Punk, and the other is Randy Orton.

Currently, NXT is on the USA Network. The contract between the USA Network and the Black and Gold brand comes to an end this September. As a result, NXT will be heading to a new network and that is the CW Network. The first live episode of NXT on the CW Network will air on the first of October. WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels recently announced that NXT will be heading to Chicago’s AllState Arena on October 1st, and the week after, it will be in St. Louis, Missouri.

“.@TripleH, I borrowed the jet…Can’t wait to bring #WWENXT on the road for the first two episodes of @TheCW era in Chicago on Tuesday 10/1 & St. Louis on Tuesday 10/8!” Shawn Michaels tweeted.

The WWE Hall of Famer’s tweet caught the attention of The Apex Predator Randy Orton. Orton mentioned that if NXT is going to be in his hometown then he will also be there on the 8th of October.

“HBK – If you’re bringing NXT to my backyard, count me in. See you in St. Louis on October 8. #WWE #NXT,” Randy Orton tweeted.

This is one of the rare occasions when NXT is traveling from city to city for their televised programming.

With that, WWE also confirmed Randy Orton’s arrival to NXT. CM Punk will also make an appearance in Chicago for NXT’s CW debut.

Punk has appeared on NXT programming before, including a surprise appearance at NXT Deadline 2023. However, this is Orton’s first NXT appearance.
