Randy Orton has proven why he’s considered one of the best in the business after coming back last year. In fact, Orton has now confirmed that he has signed a multi-year deal with WWE.
Randy Orton made his return to WWE at Survivor Series in November after being away for a long time due to a severe back injury. He came back as a babyface and competed in the Men’s WarGames Match. Since then, he has been involved in major storylines with stars like Logan Paul, The Bloodline, and GUNTHER.
While speaking to MARCA, Randy Orton talked about his future in WWE. He mentioned that while there might be talk about pursuing a title shot against Cody Rhodes, he doesn’t feel the need to rush things.
Orton emphasized that he’s committed to wrestling for a long time, having just signed a five-year contract extension with WWE. He feels great and healthy, and believes he has plenty of time to achieve his goals.
“I know you’re alluding to Cody and his title and maybe I’d like to do it later, but I don’t think I should rush it. I’m going to keep doing this for a long time. I just signed a five-year contract extension and I don’t have to rush it . I’ve got all the time in the world as far as I’m concerned. I feel great. I feel healthy.”
Randy Orton is now set to challenge GUNTHER for the World Heavyweight Championship at Bash in Berlin, so he clearly has a lot of time to think about his future feuds now that he will be sticking with WWE for five more years.
