After being out of the ring for almost 18 months, The Viper Randy Orton made a monumental return to WWE at Survivor Series 2023. The former multiple-time WWE Champion suffered massive back injury in 2022 which made him stay out of the WWE ring with an injury that millions thought won’t allow him to enter the squared circle again.
Since his return to WWE, Orton has been considered to be in the best shape of his career with an immense physique and massive opportunities coming up. The Viper himself has addressed how relieved he is to get back in the WWE ring after months of pain and rehab.
In a recent interview with Bleacher Report, Orton addressed his mindset after his return to WWE. He also revealed that he was in the middle of his prime enjoying his run in the company lately.
“I feel like I got a new lease on life that, at 43, I can honestly say I’m smack-dab in the middle of my prime. Some people might roll their eyes at that statement after 24 years in the business, but that’s how I feel.”
“Never in my 30s was I feeling this durable or as pain-free as am I now. I’ve got a new outlook and I don’t want to take a second for granted because I realized how quickly it can all be taken away because it almost was.”
Randy Orton is set to enter the Men’s Elimination Chamber match along with Kevin Owens, Logan Paul, LA Knight, Bobby Lashley, and Drew McIntyre in Perth in a few hours. While Orton winning the match is seemingly out of the cards, his involvement is surely something millions are excited to witness.
