Ranveer Singh was recently spotted at the trailer launch of his upcoming film, Singham Again. Deepika Padukone was unable to attend the event due to her recent arrival of a baby girl with Ranveer Singh. The new mother starring as Lady Singham, sent her love to fans through Ranveer. He explained that she couldn’t be there as she was busy caring for their newborn. He mentioned that he’s been taking on the night duties.

“Mulghi zaali re,” Ranveer announced, referring to the arrival of his and Deepika’s daughter. “Deepika is busy with the baby so she couldn’t come. My duty is in the night that’s why I came,” he said. He said that it is not only Deepika’s debut in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe but it is also his daughter’s debut in the universe. He added that Deepika was pregnant with the little one when she was shooting Singham Again. “Baby Singham ka debut hai,” Ranveer said.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on September 8, 2024. Since her arrival, the couple has been dedicated to their new role as parents, and fans are eager to see how Deepika embraces motherhood. Reflecting on this new chapter, she recently updated her Instagram bio to read, “Feed Burp Sleep Repeat.”
Although Deepika has kept a low profile, she was spotted leaving the hospital last month after her discharge, accompanied by Ranveer. In photos shared by the paparazzi, she beamed as she held her daughter close while they headed home. The couple has yet to reveal their baby’s name.

On the film front, Ranveer and Deepika are reuniting for Singham Again after more than six years, with their last collaboration being Padmaavat, released in January 2019. In the upcoming film, Ranveer will portray Simmba, while Deepika will play Shakti. It remains unclear if they will appear as love interests in the movie, which is slated for release during Diwali.
