American rapper, Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr, also known as DDG, has announced the break up of his relationship with American singer cum actress, Halle Bailey.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that the couple, who started dating in January 2022, became parents to their son, Halo, in late 2023.
Taking to his Instagram stories on Thursday night, DDG explained that the split was based on mutual agreement.
The post read, “Dear friends and supporters, after much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways.”
DDG further stressed that, even though they are no longer a couple, their bond remains strong, emphasizing that their priority is co-parenting and continuing to support one another in their individual pursuits.
“Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and adore each other,” he shared, adding that they will focus on their “individual journeys and roles as co-parents.
“We cherish the bond we’ve built and the beautiful moments weve shared. As we navigate this transition, we ask for your understanding and support. Thank you for your love and encouragement.”
