WWE Bad Blood 2024 was a loaded five-match card in Atlanta’s State Farm Arena. A few stories were carried on from SummerSlam, and the Women’s World Title match certainly had some high stakes.

At SummerSlam 2024, Liv Morgan successfully defended the Women’s World Championship against Rhea Ripley. After the match, Mysterio turned against Ripley, kissing Morgan and ending their partnership.

A mixed tag team match featuring The Terror Twins against Judgment Day took place at Bash in Berlin, resulting in a victory for The Terror Twins, with Ripley pinning Morgan despite interference from the rest of Judgment Day. They kept going with their creative direction, and a Bad Blood match was soon set for Ripley against Morgan. Of course, Dominik Myserio was still in the mix, but that was soon taken care of when it was announced that Dirty Dom will be in a shark cage for the match.

The match began with Dirty Dom locked in a cage, but the cage was not raised above the ring as initially advertised until Rhea Ripley demanded it be lifted. Dom was visibly displeased with this development. From the start, the match did not bode well for Liv Morgan, as the WWE Women’s World Champion took several bumps from The Nightmare.

Morgan targeted Ripley’s knee on the outside and continued her assault on Rhea’s injured leg. As they wrestled in the ring, Morgan maintained her focus on Ripley’s left leg.

Ripley sold the effects of Morgan’s attacks, leading Morgan to shout, “that’s my man, you’re nothing!” before executing the 3 Amigos. However, Ripley countered the third suplex with a released Razor’s Edge.

At that moment, Dominik Mysterio managed to pick the lock of his shark cage and opened the door while suspended in the air. Rhea Ripley climbed to the top rope and delivered a frog splash on Liv Morgan while taunting Dirty Dom. She then locked in a Prism Lock on Morgan.

Morgan crawled beneath the cage, but Ripley grabbed her and threw the Women’s World Champion against the barricades. Ripley mocked Dom, who remained seated with his cage door wide open, before hitting a Rip Tide on Morgan outside the ring. With Morgan down, Dominik Mysterio was left helpless. He fell out of the cage, and his leg became caught on a chain.

Distracted by Dom, Ripley approached him while he hung upside down before returning to the ring. She informed the referee that she would be back shortly, as she had unfinished business. Ripley grabbed a kendo stick and began punishing Dom with it while he remained suspended.

Suddenly, Raquel Rodriguez attacked Rhea Ripley at ringside, resulting in the match being called off. Fans expressed their anger with this outcome as Raquel assisted Liv Morgan to her feet at the end of the match. We will have to see where they go from here, but Raquel Rodriguez is back, and she’s on Liv Morgan’s side.
