A rare Manchester United football programme for a match abandoned due to tragedy has sold for £7,500.
The game against Wolves was to take place on February 8 1958, but sadly eight Manchester United players died after the Munich air disaster two days prior.
The programme itself was sold alongside a programme for Manchester United vs Nottingham Forest on 22 February, but most of them were destroyed after the Wolves game was cancelled making them valuable collector items.

According to the BBC, the unnamed winning UK bidder paid a total of £9,840 when fees are included.
It was sold by Peter Jackson, who was given the rare item by his uncle who worked in the Manchester print shop that made the programmes at the time.
It is a piece of memorabilia fans would forever cherish.
