Following his brace at Kenilworth Road in February, Rasmus Hojlund has been sidelined.
However, he has now given Manchester United supporters an update about his return. The recent month has seen three important players suffer injuries that have disrupted Man United’s promising start to 2024.
Against West Ham, Lisandro Martinez was first placed back on the injury list, with a return date of early April being targeted.
Luke Shaw was the next to be substituted off at halftime for two games in a row, the second time likely ending his season.
Finally, Rasmus Hojlund sustained a training injury. A two- to three-week recovery period was advised. After two weeks, the 21-year-old has updated United supporters.
Hojlund stopped outside Carrington to sign jerseys and snap pictures with supporters before leaving in his car.
While he was doing this, a supporter asked him if he would be able to return to the Old Trafford game this Saturday lunchtime against Everton.
Rasmus Hojlund says he isn’t back for training yet and “we’ll see” when asked if he will be back for the Everton game 🔜

“We’ll see,” Hojlund replied to the fan. This came after the Dane appeared to indicate he had not resumed training, indicating it is doubtful he would be ready to play this weekend.
Hojlund’s absence this weekend will make it much harder to defeat Everton than it would be with the main weapon of United’s attack.
In his last eight appearances in all competitions, Hojlund has found his feet at Old Trafford, scoring eight goals and dishing out two assists.
He has a significant influence in attack for United, and with Marcus Rashford filling in for the Dane, it clearly shows how important the former Atalanta striker is to the United attack.
