This Tuesday, we revealed that Mohamed Simakan was being courted at the end of the transfer window. The French defender from Leipzig was in particular in the sights of FC Barcelona who were looking for a defensive reinforcement. But the file seems very complicated since Leipzig is asking for no less than €50 million, which has not discouraged the Saudi club Al Nassr where Cristiano Ronaldo plays.

His departure for Saudi Arabia is even imminent since Leizpig announced his departure this evening: “Thank you Mo! Mohamed Simakan leaves RB Leipzig with immediate effect and joins a club abroad. The transfer will be made official in the coming days. Thank you for these three beautiful years, Mohamed“, is written in the official press release of the German club.
