For several years, Real Madrid has liked to attract certain free players, after having encouraged them not to extend their contracts with their club. This was the case with David Alaba, Antonio Rüdiger, and more recently, with Kylian Mbappé. And according to information fromASthis strategy has paid off again. The Spanish media reports that the club chaired by Florentino Perez has reached an agreement for the free arrival of Alphonso Davies in the summer of 2025.

The left-back refuses to renew with Bayern Munich, who have offered him a salary of 14 million euros per year. The Bavarians are expecting at least 50 million euros to part with him this summer. A significant sum that Real, who have already offered 35 million euros, do not want to reach. The Merengue club want to count on the 23-year-old player and Ferland Mendy, who is about to extend his contract, at left-back during the 2025-2026 season.
