Big blow for Real Madrid and Jude Bellingham. Despite a double and an XXL performance, the English midfielder was injured this Saturday evening during the clash against Girona (4-0).

This Sunday, the Spanish club officially communicated and gave more details on the injury of its number 5.

The current top scorer in La Liga and real strongman of Real Madrid this season suffers from a major sprained ankle and will be out between 2 and 3 weeks. The England international will therefore miss the round of 16 first leg of the Champions League this Tuesday against RB Leipzig.

Present for the 1/8 final return of C1?

It’s an absence that will hurt Real Madrid. Essential since the start of the season with the Spanish team, Jude Bellingham will miss the next 3 weeks. The Briton will leave a void on the field and be absent for at least 4 matches.

The former Borussia Dortmund player has a chance of making his comeback for the Champions League round of 16 second leg at the Bernabeu against Leipzig on March 6. However, it is unlikely that he will be at 100% of his means for this part. To be continued…
