Real Madrid will make Erling Haaland their top transfer target if the likes of Vini Jr and Rodrygo leave the club in the coming windows.

The attacking duo have been linked with leaving the Santiago Bernabeu, and should either, or both, end up departing, Florentino Perez will go all out to sign Manchester City’s Haaland.

With 104 goals in 112 games for City, the 24-year-old is arguably Europe’s most prolific striker, and Madrid have a habit of signing the world’s most in-demand talent — just ask Jude Bellingham.

Real Madrid considering huge move for Erling Haaland

The Norway international has two-and-a-half years left on his contract at the Etihad, and, according to Fichajes, continues to be an interesting prospect for the 15-time European champions.

An incoming offer within the region of £169 million (€200 million) could be on the horizon — and should it materialise, would see the former RB Salzburg starlet become the second most expensive player following Neymar’s £198 million (€222 million) transfer from Barcelona to PSG in 2017.

Given the nature of his potential, Haaland’s future, as well as his price tag, is always speculated, however, the most interesting part of this story involves Vini Jr.

The Brazilian winger’s time at Madrid could be coming to an end. The 2024 Ballon d’Or runner-up may not renew his contract with Los Blancos amid growing interest from PSG, Chelsea and Manchester United.

The 24-year-old’s deal, like Haaland’s, also expires in 2027, and failure to pen a contract extension would see Madrid backed into a corner over the future of their most high profile forward.
