Despite its two victories in a week – against Sociedad and Stuttgart – Real Madrid is not shining brightly. However, it is enough to be in the top three. The Merengue will surely want to continue their momentum against Espanyol Barcelona (a match to follow live with commentary on French Football Weekly from 9 p.m.), who for their part will do everything to join the top half of the table.

Surprise in Carlo Ancelotti’s 4-2-3-1: Vinicius Jr will start on the bench. On the front of the attack will therefore be Arda Güler on the left wing accompanied by Rodrygo and obviously Mbappé up front. Another surprise, the presence of Tchouaméni in central defense alongside Militao. For his part, Manolo González is banking on a 4-4-2. We find some former Serie A players like Kumbulla in central defense and Cheddira in attack. In the middle, we note the presence of the former Union Berlin player Kral.

The official compositions:

Real Madrid : Courtois – Carvajal, Militao, Tchouaméni, Fran Garcia-Valverde, Modric – Rodrygo, Bellingham, Güler – Mbappé

Espanyol Barcelona: Garcia – El Hilali, Kumbulla, Cabrera, Romero – Tejero, Kral, Lozano, Carreras – Puado, Cheddira
