It’s the war between Real Madrid and the neighborhood association of the new bernabéu. Furious at the work and noise caused by the renovation of the merengue den, residents of the famous stadium have increased legal action. Enough to force Casa Blanca to stop planned concerts and the construction of two parking lots. But this evening, Real Madrid banged their fist on the table.
“Real Madrid CF, taking into account the dissemination of categorically false information by the “Asociación Vecinal de Perjudicados por el Bernabéu”, within the framework of preliminary procedure 2034/2024 of the Madrid Court of Instruction No. 53, and published by various media, wishes to declare the following:
1. that Real Madrid has and has always had the corresponding municipal activity and exploitation license, which fully covers the holding of sporting events at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium. Furthermore, it is absolutely false to say that Real Madrid carries out or has carried out its sporting activity under an expired license, nor that this license has been used by third parties in a misleading manner before any public administration.
2. The concerts that took place at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium do not require the granting of a municipal license, but of an administrative authorization which, where appropriate, is granted to the musical promoters of each event by the leisure and of public entertainment of the Community of Madrid, in accordance with Law 17/1997, of July 4, 1997, on public leisure and entertainment of the Community of Madrid. All concerts organized at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium have been subject to such authorization, granted in each case by the Community of Madrid to each of the promoters of each event.
3. That Real Madrid actively works, with the Community of Madrid and Madrid City Hall, towards sustainability and coexistence so that the activities of the Santiago Bernabéu stadium are carried out in full compliance, not only with the law, but also of the environment and the neighborhood.
4. The club regrets that the “Asociación Vecinal de Perjudicados por el Bernabéu”, in addition to being foreign to the efforts of Real Madrid to guarantee the interests of this group, maliciously and knowingly transmits to the judicial bodies and to public opinion information that is categorically contrary to the truth. »
