Former Real Madrid striker Joselu has encouraged Kylian Mbappe to make history for the Merengues.

Al Gharafa striker Joselu backs Kylian Mbappe in his quest for success at Real Madrid.

Joselu left Real for Qatar after helping the club win the Liga and Champions League double last season. Although he is now in the Gulf, he continues to follow the news of the Merengue closely. And he especially hopes with all his heart that his successor as the European champions’ striker will succeed at the Bernabeu.

Joselu does not doubt Mbappé

“I know what Madrid is and I know Mbappé’s qualities, and for me there is no doubt (that he will succeed), Joselu confided. Mbappé is like a bottle of ketchup. At first you squeeze it and it doesn’t come out, then it all comes out at once.”

“He has already scored two goals against Betis and he will continue to score. Mbappé will make history in Madrid, him and everyone around him.”added the Spanish international.

Joselu then concluded that he does not hold it against Casa Blanca for having thrown him out this summer. “I have already said that Madrid is the best team in the world, but not only in sporting terms. There is also everything else, the way the players and their families are treated, the details and the day-to-day. I will always be grateful to Madrid, which is also the team of my heart. Wearing the white jersey is both a greatness and a responsibility. The current Madrid not only has the best team, but also the best president (Florentino Perez).”
