This time, it’s the right one for Real Madrid. Free from any contract after seven years spent at Paris Saint-Germain, Kylian Mbappé leaves France and Ligue 1 to join the Madrid club for the next five seasons: “Real Madrid CF and Kylian Mbappé have reached an agreement whereby he will be a Real Madrid player for the next five seasons”we can read in the press release published by the Merengue club this Monday.

But like the soap opera, the enthusiasm for this announcement is such that the official Real Madrid website crashed and had to be closed for a while, leaving journalists and supporters waiting: “Sorry, an error occurred. We are working to repair it as quickly as possible. Try again to see if the problem has been fixed”was written in the error message.
