While waiting for the arrival of Kylian Mbappé to be made official, Real Madrid is interested in another PSG executive. He would like to repatriate Achraf Hakimi.

After months, even years of procrastination, Kylian Mbappé this time seems closer than ever to Real Madrid. If he refused to pass through the doors of the Casa Blanca in 2017 then in 2022, the French striker this time informed Paris Saint-Germain that he would not extend a second time and that he would try the adventure elsewhere. Mbappé’s arrival at Real only awaits formalization which should take place at the end of the season but until then, Madrid recruiters are already working on another file. Parisian too.

According to information revealed Friday by A.S., it is Achraf Hakimi who would now be in the sights of Real Madrid. Trained at Castilla, the Moroccan was however loaned to Borussia Dortmund for two seasons before being sold to Inter Milan. Having never had a chance at Real, Hakimi was then transferred from Inter to PSG in the summer of 2021. But Madrid continued to follow the evolution of their former foal and would like to close the loop by bringing him back .

Manchester City rode

The Spanish media, however, explained that it was still too early for such an operation. Mainly because Achraf Hakimi would not be inclined to leave Paris and would even like to complete the contract which binds him until June 2026 to the French club. PSG, for its part, has already taken a step towards its player by informing him that it already wishes to extend it. However, no negotiations have yet started, said A.S..

Real Madrid’s idea would rather be to stay on the lookout and only try to attract the Moroccan international at the end of his contract with Paris, if of course he does not extend it. No transfer fees to pay to PSG and a hot replacement in view of a possible departure of Dani Carvajal. Now aged thirty-two, the Madrid full-back will reach the end of his contract in 2025. Real Madrid, however, will not be the only one on the Hakimi file, since Manchester City is also following the defender, with the intention of make him the successor to Kyle Walker (thirty-three years).
