Real Madrid are preparing to bounce back after the failure of the Leny Yoro case. According to Asthe Merengues have opened the track leading to Mario Gila (23 years old). The Barcelona native could come to numerically replace Nacho Fernandez, who left for Saudi Arabia in the same club as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The player trained at Real had signed with Lazio for 6 million euros against 50% of his rights in 2022.
Real Madrid are therefore in a strong position in the event of a buyout, Florentino Perez will only have to pay half of the sum requested by Lazio for Gila. An injury could have however scuppered the transfer. Recently the player was diagnosed with what appeared to be a fracture of the toe which could have compromised any desire of Real to recruit him. However, the injury seems less serious than expected and the Casa Blanca could well try to repatriate its former protégé.
