Real Madrid prepares a major clean-up among the youth

This summer, Real Madrid finally got their hands on Kylian Mbappé (25 years old). The Frenchman, who arrived on a free from Paris Saint-Germain, came to fill the ranks of the Spanish team. He is not the only one since the young Endrick (18 years old), bought in December 2022, also settled in the Iberian capital once he came of age. These will, a priori, be the only two reinforcements of the summer for the Spanish and European champions. However, the recruitment of a central defender is not totally excluded by the end of the transfer window. But in the coming days, the residents of the Santiago-Bernabéu stadium will mainly focus on departures.

And it is mainly young players from the Casa Blanca who are concerned. This summer, Rafa Marin was sold to Naples for €12 million. The same goes for Lucas Canizares (Farense), Álex Jiménez (€5 million to Milan), Marvin (€2 million, on his way to Las Palmas) and Juanmi Latasa (Real Valladolid, for just over €2 million). Mario Martín, who has already concluded his agreement with Valladolid, is training with Castilla while waiting to leave. Relevo also indicates that Obrador will join Deportivo La Coruña on loan for a season. Marvel, tracked by Albacete, and Álvaro Rodríguez, linked to Real Sociedad, are also on the way out.

The Merengues are getting active in the direction of departures

Same thing for Nico Paz. Yesterday, the Merengues reached an agreement with Como for his transfer. AS mentions an amount of €6 million with a buyout clause and another that gives Real Madrid 50% of the rights to a future sale. Relevo rather evokes a transfer of 10 M€. Others should follow the movement in the coming days. This could be the case of Miguel Gutiérrez. AS reveals that Real Madrid has a few days to decide on the future of its player, who is being courted by many clubs.

Indeed, Florentino Pérez and his teams, who do not count on him in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad, do not rule out exercising his €8 million buyout option to resell him to one of the interested clubs in 2024 (the clause is €10 million in 2025, editor’s note). The Spanish management is still thinking about the best option for the player who is brilliant at Girona. The Madrilenians also hope to find a way out for Reinier. The Brazilian, who has gone on multiple loans since his arrival in Spain, is in Norwich’s sights according to The Globe. To facilitate his departure, Real, who intend to include a buyout clause, would be willing to pay part of his salary. The Merengues have a lot on their plate before the end of the transfer window!
