Real Madrid: Theo Zidane will slam the door!

It’s the end of the Zidane era in Madrid. Next season, there should, a priori, be no more members of the Zidane siblings within the Madrid team. Enzo, the eldest, already packed his bags a while ago, before wandering around and then putting his career on hold. Luca is a hit at Eibar, establishing himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the Spanish D2, with the possibility of returning to La Liga quickly. Theo is still in Madrid, while Elyaz, the youngest, left the Spanish capital last winter to move to Betis.

But as indicated Relevo, Theo, last of the Zidane dynasty in Madrid, will also leave. The 22-year-old midfielder therefore made the decision to leave the Merengue club to try his luck elsewhere. He knows that a place in the first team is extremely difficult to obtain, and he wants to play at the pro level next year (even if most D3 teams are professional, the championship is still considered semi-pro).

A good rating in Spain

He will therefore leave freely, since his contract expires at the end of June. But Theo Zidane is not leaving Madrid through the back door, far from it. He is coming off a very good season with Castilla under the orders of Raul, playing 37 matches in total, with 2 goals and 4 assists to boot. Good performances and qualities as a box-to-box player which allowed him to gain legitimacy in Madrid.

Theo Zidane should therefore not have too much difficulty finding a club in the Spanish second division or even at the bottom of the La Liga table, who knows. A few days ago, the Spanish press mentioned an interest from the legendary Deportivo de la Coruña for his services, the Galician club having just been promoted to D2. To be continued…
