Real Madrid management are preparing to offer a new contract to one of their French players.
Real Madrid will have four French players in its squad next season. Kylian Mbappé joined this summer an already rich community of Tricolores, composed of Ferland Mendy, Eduardo Camavinga and Aurélien Tchouaméni.
Among those who were already in the club, there is one who will soon sign a new contract. This is defender Ferland Mendy. An extension should be offered to him shortly according to what the daily Marca reveals.
Real Madrid retains its best players
After having done it with Luka Modric and Lucas Vazquez, Real would like to reward the former Lyon player for his good 2023/2024 season. He had been among the architects of the conquest of the C1 – Liga double. The interested party is also happy at the club and in the locker room he is loved and respected by all.
Aged 29, Mendy has been playing for Real since 2019. Within this prestigious club, he has totaled 169 matches and scored 6 goals. Among the French players who have played for the club, only Benzema, Varane and Zidane have played more matches than him with the white jersey.
