Real Madrid are preparing to renew their confidence in one of their French players.

Having arrived at Real Madrid in 2019 from Lyon for 48 million euros, Ferland Mendy will be extended for two additional seasons, until June 2027, announces Marca.

After a great season last year, Ferland Mendy had Carlo Ancelotti campaigning for his extension. The Italian coach has clearly been heard since the French international should sign his new lease in the coming days.

After this extension, the White House will only have three players whose contracts expire at the end of the season: Dani Carvajal, Lucas Vazquez and Luka Modric.
