Despite the ongoing economic turmoil at Barcelona, the club have continued to produce top-class talents and is home to some of Spain’s most gifted youngsters at the moment.

Players such as Gavi, Pedri, Ansu Fati and Alejandro Balde have all enjoyed their breakthrough, not only in Barcelona but also in the Spanish national team.

This has resulted in an influx of Barcelona players in Spain’s roster, with much more likely to join the list in the near future.

Real Madrid unhappy over Spain’s attention to Barcelona players

In light of Barcelona players’ added exposure to the Spanish national team, MARCA (h/t FCB World) has come up with a report suggesting that Real Madrid are unhappy with the Spanish footballing federation.

It appears Los Blancos are not happy with the way the Spanish team has paid attention to Barcelona youngsters whilst ignoring homegrown Real Madrid talents.

Real Madrid are particularly unhappy with how Spain have chosen to ignore Brahim Diaz, who has yet to make a single appearance for La Roja after making his debut almost three years ago.

Will the situation get worse?

With the European Championship just around the corner, the exposure of Barcelona players in the Spanish team is likely to continue.

RFEF is already delighted with Pau Cubarsi’s rapid rise to prominence and has not ruled out the inclusion of the young centre-back into the roster for Euro 2024.

The same stands for Lamine Yamal, who recently produced a jaw-dropping performance against Mallorca.

Apart from these two youngsters, Pedri and Ferran Torres are other players in contention to join the Spanish team for Euro 2024, whereas Gavi and Balde are currently injured and are unlikely to recover in time.
