Rebel Ridge and The Perfect Couple were back atop the Netflix charts last week.
Both titles grew week-over-week, as Rebel Ridge was once again the streamer’s top title with 38.6M views from September 9 to 15, easily soaring to No. 1 among English-language films. In second place among films was the Joey King starring YA dystopian adaptation of Uglies, which managed 20.M views.
That puts The Perfect Couple as the second most-watched title last week, clocking 21.9M views. The No. 2 TV title of the week was Season 4B of Emily in Paris, which launched on September 12, racking up 11.5M views — which noticeably lower than the debut week audience for the first half of the season.
However, it could very well become a duel between these two series, as Emily in Paris is hugely popular for Netflix, and it is very likely to grow its audience in the coming week. Season 4A debuted in August to nearly 20M views. Netflix is certainly banking on the second half of the season performing well, considering the series has already been renewed for Season 5.
Elsewhere in TV, Selling Sunset grew to 4.4M views, which was good enough for fourth place, and KAOS claimed No. 5 with 3.4M views.
On the film side of things, The Deliverance fell sharply to No. 4 with 7M views after putting up an impressive 21.8M last week. That title was slow to find its audience but, over the past several weeks, had steadily marched its way up the charts.
The Union is also still fighting for a spot on the list with 3.9M views, putting it at No. 8
