EXCLUSIVE: RedBird IMI is continuing to double down on the production sector with its latest deal – a partnership with A-Frame Productions, the company founded by Full Swing and 100 Days to Indy producer Pat Dimon.
Dimon founded A-Frame Productions in 2020 after a decade with HBO Sports. He was exec producer and director on The CW’s 100 Days to Indy and showrunner and co-exec producer on Netflix’s golf series Full Swing and also worked on 24/7: Kelly Slater.
A-Frame will be supported by Bright North Studios, which just completed a deal with RedBird IMI, and will work across the latter’s portfolio, which also includes All3Media and EverWonder Studio. A-Frame is currently working on new projects with sports organizations and athletes.
“Pat can always be found where the action is – on the putting green at The Masters with Rickie Fowler, surfing with Kelly Slater, or driving 200 miles per hour with Pato O’Ward,” said Jeff Zucker, CEO of RedBird IMI. “Pat is a confidant and storyteller to the most famous athletes in the world. We are thrilled to have him as a partner and look forward to the incredible content A-Frame will continue to produce with support from our portfolio.”
“I’ve always tried to tell stories that go beyond the greens and racetrack, putting viewers in the real life minds of the characters,” added Dimon. “We explore the human condition behind the athlete, taking audiences through their journeys of triumph and adversity. With this collaboration, we will reach new heights in content creation and showcase our vision and ability to connect with athletes on a personal level.”
