After Lionel Messi, the American club Inter Miami welcomed another Argentinian into its fold.

Inter Miami have signed Argentinos Juniors midfielder Federico Redondo. He is the son of former Real Madrid player Fernando Redondo.

Redondo and Messi reunited

This young prodigy was announced at Liverpool and Real, but he decided to settle in the United States. Probably to be alongside his illustrious compatriot, Lionel Messi.

Following the finalization of the deal with the MLS franchise, Redondo said: “I am very happy to join a club that is growing so much. This is a fantastic opportunity to share the pitch with top players. I can’t wait to integrate into the group with my teammates. We must move forward step by step, but always dream big.” In addition to Messi, Redondo Jr will have the chance to play in the same team as Suarez, Busquets and Jordi Alba.

The new MLS season starts this Saturday. For his 1er match, Inter Miami will cross swords with Los Angeles Galaxy. It is unlikely that Redondo will be lined up from the start for this meeting.
