As we exclusively announced to you, Amir Richardson preferred to go to Fiorentina, rather than go to Tottenham. After only one season spent in the Stade de Reims jersey, the 22-year-old Moroccan midfielder has officially signed with the Viola. The transfer fee is said to be around €10 million.

ACF Fiorentina announces the definitive acquisition of the rights of player Michael Amir Richardson from Stade de Reims. Richardson, born in Nice on January 24, 2002, has also worn the jersey of Le Havre during his young career and, in his last season with Reims, he made 28 appearances, scoring three goals. Richardson has already worn the jersey of the Moroccan senior national team on seven occasions and has just won the bronze medal with his national team at the last Olympic Games in Paris. The new Viola midfielder will be presented to the press tomorrow, Tuesday, August 13, at 2:30 p.m., in the Wind3 Media Center of the Rocco B. Commisso Viola Park.»
