They know the name. There are certain wrestlers who are absolute legends in the industry and those people are going to be known to fans throughout the world. Even if someone never had the biggest impact in a promotion, they will still be known there for one reason or another. That was the case again this week in a rare cross promotional mention after a major moment.

Over the weekend at AEW Revolution, Sting wrestled his final match, teaming with Darby Allin to defeat the Young Bucks. This week on Monday Night Raw, Michael Cole referenced Sting wrestling his retirement match but did not go into any other details. Pat McAfee began talking about the match but was cut off by Cole. Sting wrestled for WWE in 2015 and stayed with the company until 2020. He was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2016.
