Since this Saturday, Désiré Doué is officially a Paris Saint-Germain player. The 19-year-old attacking midfielder is leaving Rennes, a club he joined at the age of six. Before starting his new Parisian adventure, the French U23 international published a final message to the Breton club’s supporters on social media.

After 13 years at the club, it is time for me to say goodbye. Years that have allowed me to grow as a player, but also as a man. From the Écluse du Comte to Roazhon Park, I have never stopped giving my all for this jersey, for these colours, for this club. So, I would like to say thank you to my teammates, employees, volunteers, as well as all my coaches since I was young. Thank you to the management for the trust they have shown in me. Finally, a huge thank you to you, dear supporters, for your unconditional support! I wish you the best “, said Doué. He will have his first training session this Monday with his new teammates at the PSG Campus (Poissy).
