Stade Rennais will register the arrival of Mikayil Faye. The Barça central defender, courted by several European clubs including LOSC, will finally join Brittany. According to L’Teamthe Senegalese should even pass his medical examination this weekend before signing with the residents of Rhoazon Park.
After Leo Østigård (24 years old), Rennes is preparing to sign its second central defender of this transfer window. The 20-year-old left-hander who came close to signing with Olympique de Marseille a few years ago now, will leave FC Barcelona for a sum of around 12 million euros. The Catalan club will however retain a buyout option for the Lion of Teranga. After validating his medical, Faye will therefore sign with Stade Rennais until 2028, with an additional year as an option.
