According to a report from journalist Gabriel Sans in Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are busy working on renewing the contracts of two talented young players from their La Masia academy, Guille Fernandez and Dani Rodriguez.

First up is Guille, a 15-year-old midfielder who is considered one of the most promising talents in the club’s youth system.

With interest swirling from clubs in England and Germany, Barcelona are determined not to lose him.

His current contract expires in June, so the club has already made him an offer to extend for three more seasons, with the possibility of two more after that. This would keep him at Barcelona until at least 2027.

As for the player, who is currently playing for Juvenil B despite being younger, wants to stay at Barcelona to pursue his dreams of success.

For that to happen, it is suggested that his family and his representative, Jorge Mendes, are also involved in the negotiations.

Next is Dani, a skilful winger whose contract with Barcelona runs until June 2024.

As of today, the 18-year-old, who joined Barcelona from Real Sociedad in 2020 at the age of 14, is now considering the club’s offer to extend his stay.

Despite having the option for two more seasons, Barcelona want to secure his immediate future due to his impressive performances and development.

If he agrees, he will likely move up to Barcelona Atletic, the club’s reserve team, where he has already had some playing time.

Talks also include assurances of a future in the first team and for what it is worth, Athletic Club and Real Sociedad are keeping an eye on the negotiations.

It is to be noted that Dani’s representative is Pini Zahavi, who has close ties with Barcelona and represents top players like Robert Lewandowski. This connection adds an interesting layer to the negotiations and hints at a positive outcome.

In summary, Barcelona are keen on retaining both Guille Fernandez and Dani Rodriguez, recognizing their potential and importance to the club’s future.

With negotiations underway and promising signs from both players and their representatives, there is optimism within the Barcelona camp for successful contract renewals.
