Those who were upset regarding the recent report that The Judgment Day would be renamed Street Trash have apparently been heard loud and clear by those in WWE.

Earlier this week it was reported that The Judgment Day would be undergoing a name change. With Street Trash being the leading candidate.

In an update from WrestleVotes, that name change is off the table thanks to the backlash of the WWE Universe. Despite that, the name will still be used in the group’s gimmick due to Finn Balor coming up with the idea. The wheels were already so far in motion that merchandising concepts have already been approved, tweeting out:

“A good follow up on this: looks like they heard the outcry! Source claims the name Judgment Day will remain, however the slogan “Street Trash” will be incorporated within the groups gimmick. The “Street Trash” idea came directly from Finn Balor, with merchandising concepts already completed and approved,” WrestleVotes said in a post.

Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information on The Judgment Day as it becomes available.
