A major name has been discussed for the crossover between NXT and TNA, according to a new report.
In recent months, NXT and TNA have built up a working relationship. It started when Jordynne Grace was revealed as NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez’s challenger at NXT Battleground. Since then, Joe Hendry has made several appearances on NXT. Frankie Kazarian has also competed on NXT, as have The Rascalz. Meanwhile, No Quarter Catch Crew and Wes Lee, among others, have competed on TNA.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that former TNA World Champion Josh Alexander has been discussed for a potential appearance. The report notes that some sources suggested that Alexander could be part of NXT Great American Bash on August 6.
Joe Hendry and Zachary Wentz are already set to compete on Tuesday’s episode of NXT. Hendry will face Joe Coffey in a singles match. Meanwhile, Wentz and Wes Lee will challenge Axiom and Nathan Frazer for the NXT Tag Team Championship.
