Jim Ross will be unable to be at AEW Double or Nothing, according to a new report.
On May 23, AEW broadcaster Jim Ross took to Twitter to state that he went to the emergency room due to shortness of breath. In a subsequent post, he shared a picture in which he could be seen in a hospital bed.

In an update, Dave Meltzer reported about the situation in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He wrote that Ross is dealing with a Class A flu, and he has raised heart enzymes along with the breathing issue. Meltzer stated that Ross said he would not be able to attend AEW Double or Nothing on May 26, but he ” expects to be fine in a few days. (H/t Joseph Currier of F4WOnline.com)
Ross had recently said that his health was better than it had been in a year. He has been dealing with health issues in recent years.
