Jimmy Jacobs is no longer All Elite.
In a shocking update heading into AEW WrestleDream this evening, it was reported last night that there has been a shakeup of the company’s writing team.
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), Jimmy Jacobs “effectively resigned” from the company over this past week. Despite this, the two sides remain on amicable terms.
Sapp goes on to state that Jacobs has been burned out as of late and the company will look at this as an opportunity to freshen up the writers’ room.
Jacobs joined All Elite Wrestling in June 2023 and worked directly with Tony Khan during his time with the company.
Prior to his time in All Elite Wrestling, Jacobs worked backstage in a creative capacity for both TNA Wrestling and WWE in previous years.
Stay tuned for more information on the AEW departure of Jimmy Jacobs as it becomes available.
