WWE has filed to trademark the name Kalyx.
Who does this name belong to? Many fans were thinking that Sol Ruca was getting a name change as her real name is Calyx. But have no fear, Sol Ruca is still surfing the waves with her name.
Fightful Select has been informed that the name Kalyx is for the in-ring persona of WWE referee Jessika Carr. Carr previously wrestled before accepting the WWE referee position. She is said to be a part of the Evolve tapings recently, where she wrestled under a mask.
WWE has filmed six episodes, and Fightful has been told that she was on the fourth epsiode, working a tag team match. The two were already in the ring ahead of the match and didn’t get a typical entrance noting them as enhancement talent.
Carr wrestled for years on the indies as Kennadi Brink and Jessie Kaye. She made an NXT appearance as Kennedy Lewis. Upon getting hired by WWE, she became a full-time referee.
