Where do things currently stand right now between AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery?
All Elite Wrestling’s current deal with TBS and TNT through WBD expires at the end of 2024. However, a new update provides more information on the situation between the two sides.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the per-year figures are currently being discussed. They are said to be “considerably more” than the estimated talks of $110 million per year.
If this deal takes place, it will make the company profitable for years to come.
It was reported earlier this week that All Elite Wrestling’s exclusive negotiating window with Warner Bros. Discovery expires sometime in July. That same report suggested that Tony Khan was “disappointed” by WBD’s latest offer, but AEW has since denied this report.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information on All Elite Wrestling’s next media rights deal as it becomes available.
