Former executive Kevin Dunn finished up with WWE at the end of 2023. A new report shines some light on the situation.
Corey Brennan of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that, per one source, Dunn remanded the best out of everyone, and he “had his hand” in every part of WWE broadcasts. It was said that if Dunn saw room for improvement, he would give feedback, and he was described as the “ring leader” of the broadcasts.
The report also states that WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H ook charge of the WWE Survivor Series broadcast at the end of the show, when CM Punk made his return, as Dunn was absent. Sources indicated that Dunn had a normal amount of holidays and days off during his lengthy run.
Sources who worked with Dun said that he got along well with Triple H, Vince McMahon, Bruce Prichard, and others, and they would all exchange ideas. Dunn’s focus on safety, espcially with the delayed pyro for Cody Rhodes’ entrance at WrestleMania 38, was also highlighted in the report.
Dunn had served as WWE’s Executive Producer & Chief of Global Television Distribution prior to his departure.
Following Dunn’s exit, WWE announced that Lee Fitting had been hired as the new Head of Media and Production.
