It sounds like the Motor City Machine Guns have finally found their new home.
For months, Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley have been teasing their next full-time destination while working various independent dates. We now have a solid update on where the decorated tag team is heading.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Motor City Machine Guns are expected to start in NXT imminently.
With the debut of WWE NXT on The CW on the horizon, one would think that this legendary tag team will be in Chicago for the brand’s debut on network television.
Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley have held tag team gold in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Ring of Honor, and TNA Wrestling. With WWE currently having a relationship with the latter, it will be interesting to see if any crossover between the two companies takes place involving them.
