It sounds like TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth will be sticking around with the company for the foreseeable future.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Nic Nemeth has signed an extension with TNA Wrestling to remain with the company.

Nemeth’s original deal with the company was set to expire at the beginning of 2025. While the two sides have come to terms on this extension, it’s currently unknown how long that will be. Nemeth made his debut with TNA Wrestling at Hard To Kill last January.

Nic Nemeth is set to defend the TNA World Championship against Joe Hendry at TNA Genesis on January 19 in Dallas.

Nemeth recently discussed the idea of being a surprise entrant in the 2025 Royal Rumble and had the following to say:

“A rumble spot, dude that’s so cool. WWE’s killing it right now. To do something fun and wear my old trunks, get the old music to play, come out there, and kick somebody in the face, that would be awesome. It would just be something to have a viral moment so I could talk about TNA, so that’s the only reason I would want to do it. It’d be cool, see some old friends, but most importantly, I left on purpose, not because I hated that place, they’re killing it, [but] I love TNA and I love what I’m doing. I just don’t want to be anywhere else.”

Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information on Nic Nemeth’s TNA status as it becomes available.
