NXT Women’s Champion Giulia is reportedly dealing with an injury.
On the February 25th episode of WWE NXT, Giulia confronted NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer. They agreed to face each other in a double title match, which was confirmed for NXT Roadblock on March 11th. The news caught many fans by surprise, as some had assumed the bout would be booked for NXT Stand & Deliver.
Bryan Alvarez discussed the situation on Wrestling Observer Live and stated that one of the women in the match was banged up, so they needed time off. He said that she would take time off after the match. (H/t F4WOnline.com)
Mike Johnson of PWinsider reported that Giulia is dealing with an injury issue, but she is still expected to be able to face Stephanie Vaquer at NXT Roadblock. Ibou of WrestlePurists also wrote that Giulia is injured.
