Penta El Zero Miedo is reportedly set to hit free agency soon.
As previously reported, Penta El Zero Miedo’s and Fenix’s AEW contracts were set to expire in the fall, but injury time was added. This came amid reports that WWE had communicated with the duo.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that Penta El Zero’s deal is coming up very soon. Per Sapp, the word within AEW is that Penta’s deal will be up next week, and he will effectively become a free agent, barring unforeseen changes. Penta is expected to have interest from WWE, but nobody in an official capacity has mentioned him to Fightful. Additionally, indie companies are looking to book him if he becomes available.
Penta has been with AEW since 2019. He is a former AEW and ROH World Tag Team Champion. He has also held the AEW World Trios Championship. Before his time in AEW, he held the IMPACT World Championship, among other accolades.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
