The Rascalz were scheduled to receive an NXT Tag Team Title shot earlier this week, but were pulled from the match before it took place.
The TNA Wrestling tag team was replaced by The Street Profits. The result saw Ford and Dawkins wrestle Axiom and Nathan Frazier to a no-contest after interference from The Bloodline. So what happened to Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz?
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, two days before the match was scheduled to take place Trey Miguel had to undergo “unforeseen minor surgery.”
The idea to have The Bloodline run in on the match was discussed prior but wasn’t finalized until The Rascalz were forced to pull out of the match. This finish was done because the company didn’t want The Street Profits to take a loss in NXT.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information on Trey Miguel’s status as it becomes available.
